Independence Day duties assigned

TOBU: Independence Day Celebration works were assigned to various departments at the Tobu SDPDB meeting was held with Vice Chairman SDPDB Tobu and ADC Tobu, Mudongoyi Chuzho as the chairman. Reviewing the minutes of the previous meeting, the house approved the LADF 2019-2020 and up-gradation of JE to that of SDO Electrical at Tobu, stated a release.

Office building inauguration

KOHIMA: The Department of Economics and Statistics will be inaugurating its Directorate building, below New Secretariat Complex at Noon on July 23. The plaque of the new building will be unveiled by Advisor, Economics and Statistics, Fisheries and Aquatic Resources and Evaluation, L. Khumo. A handbook 'Nagaland Statistical-2018' will be also released at the inauguration programme, stated a release.

Training for officials

KOHIMA: The Additional Director ATI, L. Youdang Jamir, in a notification, stated that the Institute will be organising a workshop on 'Ethics and Values for Public Governance' in collaboration with the Initiatives of Change from July 23 to 25. The participants have been drawn from the Nagaland Civil Service, Nagaland Police Service and Nagaland Secretariat Service. Some of the topics to be covered include inner governance, relationships and teamwork, excellence in service delivery, a leadership game among others, stated a release.
