Nagaland staff asked to attend Independence Day celebration at Civil Secretariat Plaza on August 15

KOHIMA: Nagaland's Home Commissioner Abhijit Sinha informed on Tuesday that the State-level function for the celebration of 75th Independence Day will be held at the Nagaland Civil Secretariat Plaza on August 15 and the celebration will have to be attended compulsorily by all the officers and staff of the Civil Secretariat.

According to the DIPR, Nagaland, the staff may use the Secretariat buses, which will start from their respective pick-up points at 8 am. Further, the officers and staff have been directed to attend the evening celebration also at the Secretariat Plaza.

All administrative heads of departments have been asked to make arrangements for taking the attendance of their respective staff present in the function and submit the attendance sheet to the State's Home Department for necessary action. The supervisor will take attendance of the Grade-IV staff of the Nagaland Civil Secretariat.

The National Day Celebration will also have to be attended compulsorily by all the officers and staff of the Directorates located around the vicinity of the Nagaland Secretariat Complex - DUDA, Economic & Statistics, Health & Family Welfare, Higher & Technical Education, Horticulture, IDAN, IPR, Land Resource, PHED, Rural Development, Sericulture, Social Welfare, Treasuries & Accounts, Urban Development, and Veterinary & Animal Husbandry.

All the concerned heads of departments have been advised to make arrangements for taking the attendance of their respective staff present in the function and submit the attendance sheet to the Home Commissioner's office for necessary action.
