GANGTOK: Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang attended the Sadhbhavana Sammelan on December 31, which was graced by the esteemed presence of Satpal Ji Maharaj and his family. The event, with a large gathering of devotees, aimed to foster unity, goodwill, and harmony within the community.

Satpal Ji Maharaj's presence and messages, centered on love, compassion, and collective progress, deeply resonated with the attendees, setting a positive tone for the year ahead.

In his speech, Chief Minister Tamang described the Sammelan as a spiritually enriching occasion to welcome the New Year. “Being part of this vibrant celebration has filled my heart with gratitude and inspired me to approach the coming year with renewed energy and purpose,” he shared.

The event included devotional chants and prayers, underscoring the significance of community and beginning the New Year on a spiritually uplifting note.

Meanwhile, CM Prem Singh Tamang and Governor Om Prakash Mathur greeted the people of Sikkim on the occasion of Losoong and Namsoong on Tuesday.

CM Tamang said, “As we celebrate the vibrant festivals of Losoong and Namsoong, I send my warmest wishes to the people of Sikkim, with special regard for the Bhutia and Lepcha communities. These festivals mark the end of the harvest season and the beginning of the New Year, reminding us of the deep bond we share with nature and the cycles of life.
