COVID-19 Guidelines issued for government office goers in Tripura

Agartala: In a bid to resume work in government offices, the State government has issued a guideline regarding attendance in the offices till May 3. The order issued by the Chief Secretary said that all the Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ officers will attend office regularly while the heads of the departments were asked to prepare a roster duty chart for the employees belonging to Group ‘C’ and group ‘B’ categories. As per roster duty some will attend office physically while rest will work from home. If any official needs to leave station, he will have to take prior permission.

However, there will be no roster duty in case of departments rendering essential services and the employees in full strength will have to remain present. The services enlisted as essential in the COVID-19 guideline include Health, Power, Water Supply, Municipal Corporation, and Municipal Councils, Police, Home Guard, Civil Defense, Fire Service, Prison, Revenue and Relief, Agriculture and Allied Services, Fisheries, Animal Resources, Forest, Industries and Commerce, Labour Department, Rural Development and Panchayat, Food and Civil Supplies, Information and Technology, District Administration, Treasury, Social Welfare and Social Education.
