Nonagenarian gang raped

KANCHANPUR: A 90-year-old woman was raped by two men at her Kanchanpur house in Tripura on the midnight of October 24. The victim was admitted to the hospital, and medical examination done. Sources informed that the 90-year-old woman stays alone in her house. A case was registered on October 29, against the two men by a relative of the elderly woman.

Of the two accused, one has been identified as AnjanNama, a 35-year-old man from Barahaldi village, and the other is an unidentified man. After barging into her house, they allegedly gang-raped her and then fled from the spot. investigation is underway. (Agencies)
