TRIPURA: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha held detailed discussions with Reliance Industries Chairman & MD Mukesh Ambani and his son Anant Ambani about potential investment opportunities in the state and invited them to join the state’s growth story.

Saha highlighted the abundance of natural resources in Tripura, emphasizing their potential for the socioeconomic development of both the state and the nation.

Taking to his official X handle, the Tripura CM stated, "This historic moment marks a new chapter for #Maharashtra, poised for rapid growth & development under Narendra Modi's leadership."

The Chief Minister was in Mumbai to attend the oath-taking ceremony of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on December 5.

Earlier, the Tripura government had signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Tata Technologies Ltd. on November 20 to upgrade 19 Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) in the state. The upgrade plan will be implemented in five years.

Meanwhile, the Government of India has approved 40 projects aimed at developing tourist sites across 23 states with a total investment of Rs 3295 crore. Among these, one significant project is the development of the 51 Shakti Peethas Park in Banduar, Gomati district of Tripura, with a project cost of Rs 97.70 crore.
