50 sacks of Agar woods seized in Bokakhat

Bokakhat Police on Friday seized at least 50 sacks of Agar woods were seized on Friday from a Bolero pick up van bearing registration number AS 03BC 7897 at Latabari town.

The police team also seized the Bolero Pick Van, however, the driver of the four vehicles managed to escape from the spot.

As per sources, the Bolero pick van was heading towards Hojai from Dergaon in Naharoni.

The value of the seized agar woods has not been ascertained yet.

On the other hand, it has come to light that the seized Bolero Pick Van belongs to a special task force forest official at Kaziranga National Park (KNP) identified as Abdul Mannan.
