GMC carries out eviction drive against illegal street shops at Panbazar, Fancy Bazar

Following a state government order the Guwahati Municipal Corporation has evicted illegal street shops at city's busy Panbazar and Fancy Bazar areas, on Thursday. A GMC team assisted by officials from Health Department and metro district administration has carried out the eviction drive.

According to GMC officials the Corporation started an eviction drive against illegal street shops within the city one week ago as a part of its coronavirus preventive measures. The eviction drive continues till today.
