GMC to award Rs 500 for sending pictures of open littering

In a new endeavour, Guwahati Municipal Corporation has announced an award of Rs 500 for those who can submit pictures of open littering in the city. Moreover, if the municipal staff does not pick garbage for more than 24 hours, such picture providers will get Rs 100.
