Police Jawan killed, another injured in Road Accident in Makum

In a tragic incident, a policeman died after being run over by a speeding car (AS 23 0140) near Makum check gate in Tinsukia District on Wednesday night.

As per initial reports, the deceased identified as Ajijul Haque belonged to 9th APBN

Another policeman received severe injuries and was rushed to Dibrugarh Nursing Home under critical condition. He was identified as Mangal Singh of ITBP.

Following the incident, two persons namely Sahebuddin Ali and Saddam Ali were apprehended by the Tinsukia police.
