Rhino strayed out from Kaziranga and creates panic at Monabarie Tea Estate in Biswanath

A one-horned rhino strayed out from Kaziranga National Park and created panic among the locals in Monabarie Tea Estate under Biswanath District.

The one-horned rhinoceros was spotted behind a staff quarter in the tea garden on Thursday.

Meanwhile, a team of forest personnel and police reached to the spot for an inspection.

Furthermore, the staffs from both Kaziranga and Sonitpur East forest division are maintaining round-the-clock vigil to protect the rhinos.
