GUWAHATI: No matches could be played today in the Assam State Premier League Football (Phase II) due to poor ground conditions caused by continuous heavy rainfall. This is the second consecutive day the tournament has been suspended, as Guwahati and the surrounding areas have been experiencing relentless showers over the past few days. The ongoing competitions are being held at Mirza and Chhaygaon localities.

According to sources from the Assam Football Association, if weather permits the matches are expected to resume on Sunday. A total of eight teams are competing in this phase of the tournament. The semi-finals and final are scheduled to take place at Dhakuakhana. The two semi-final matches are set for June 7 and 8, while the final will be held on June 10.
