44th Junior State Athletics Championship begins at Indira Gandhi Athletics Complex

GUWAHATI: The 44th Junior State Athletics Championship got under way at the Indira Gandhi Athletics Complex here on Thursday. The tournament was inaugurated by Gitartha Goswami, Member Secretary of SLAC for Student and Youth Welfare in presence of Lakhya Konwar, president of the Assam Athletics Association. Around 550 athletes from various parts of the state are taking part in the tournament in various age categories.
