
NEW DELHI: Indian challenge at the German Open Super 300 tournament ended on Saturday after mixed doubles pair of Dhruv Kapila and Tanisha Crasto lost in the semifinals in Mulheim an der Ruhr.
The eighth-seeded Indian duo of Dhruv and Tanisha went down 25-23, 10-21, 21-15 to Indonesia’s Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto and Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja in an hour.
In women’s singles quarterfinals on Friday, Unnati Hooda and Rakshitha Sree Santosh Ramraj lost while Tasnim Mir was forced to retire in the initial stages of the deciding game.
