Guwahati Win In JK Baruah Cricket Tournament

GUWAHATI: Guwahati defeated Sibasagar by virtue of the first innings lead in the JK Baruah Cricket tournament held at the Nehru Stadium here today. In reply to Guwahati's first innings total 426-7 (dec), Sibsagar were bowled out at paltry 46 in the first innings. Ram Kishan Sarma picked up 3-0. Later Guwahati scored 129-1 before declaring their second innings. Devraj Sarma remained not out on 52.Sibsagar were 138-6 in their second innings when the match came to an end. Rahul Tamuli (50) scored a half century in the second innings. At Amingaon Cricket ground Nowgong defeated Bongaigaon by 3 wickets.
