I was mentally ready to bat at No.4: Jadeja

DUBAI, Aug 30: All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who played a crucial knock in India's win over Pakistan, on Tuesday revealed that he was mentally prepared to bat at No. 4 considering that the opposition had left-arm spinner and leg spinner.

"Sometimes, left-arm spinners and leg spinners are bowling, so sending left-handed batters is easy and they can take chances. That is why I was promoted," Jadeja said in the press conference before the match against Hong Kong. IANS
