All Assam Inter-School Taekwondo Championship Concludes

GUWAHATI: All Assam Inter-School Taekwondo Championship concluded at the Modern English School, Kahilipara premises on Sunday. The two-day tournament was open to young athletes aged 5 to 17 years, who competed in different age categories. Around 400 athletes from the schools of various districts took part in the championship.

Award Winners: Best Team: Jhalukbari Taekwondo Academy.  Second Best Team: Sports Authority of Assam.  Emerging Team: Dhakuakhana Taekwondo Academy.  Best Female Fighter: Kaadambaree Das, Class IX (Modern English School, Guwahati).  Best Male Fighter: Saifrin Rahaman (Raising Taekwondo Academy). Best Coach: Jay Prakash Sharma. Best Referee: Ashutosh Medhi.
