GUWAHATI: ANA Cricket Academy registered a convincing 9-wicket victory over DKCA in the Sitaram Chhawchharia Memorial U-19 Tournament match at NFRSA Stadium, Maligaon on Friday.
After winning the toss, DKCA opted to bat but struggled against a disciplined ANA bowling attack. They were bowled out for just 77 in 36.5 overs, with Devesh Jha top-scoring with 21 off 42 balls. Beer Oniket Prasad led the charge with an impressive 3/6, supported well by Liyan Kashyap (3/19) and Mriganka Borah (2/25).
In reply, ANA Cricket Academy chased down the modest target with ease, reaching 80/1 in just 13.2 overs. While Mehdi Islam remained not out on 30, Vedant Mour contributed 24.
