GUWAHATI: Shuttler Ashmita Chaliha and Wushu player Sanma Brahma have been chosen by the Assam Olympic Association as flag bearers for the opening ceremony of the 38th National Games, set to begin in Dehradun on Tuesday. Each participating team is allowed to have 25 athletes march in the parade during the opening ceremony. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the event during a grand and colorful ceremony. The occasion will also be graced by Indian Olympic Association President PT Usha and Commonwealth Games Federation President Chris Jenkins.
