Assam boy Dasarath Kumar shines in Cooch Behar Trophy Championship

GUWAHATI: Assam defeated Jammu and Kashmir by five wickets in the Cooch Behar Trophy championship match today. The star of the match was Dasarath Kumar who made a splendid performance with the ball and bagged 12 wickets in the game. In reply to Jammu and Kashmir’s first innings total of 194 Assam were bowled out 125 in the first innings. However, Jammu and Kashmir couldn’t do well in the second innings and the entire team was bowled out paltry 31 runs thanks to a nice spell from Dasarath who picked up 7-10. Assam reached the target losing five wickets in the second innings.
