GUWAHATI: The Assam Cricket Association (ACA) is set to host the inaugural edition of the North East Rising (NER) Cup 2025 for Under-15 girls, marking a significant step forward for women’s cricket in the region. This first-of-its-kind tournament will feature eight teams from the North Eastern states, competing in a 35-over format. Matches will be held across two venues—the ACA Cricket Academy Ground in Fulung, North Guwahati, and the Annexe Ground at ACA Stadium, Guwahati.
The tournament aims to promote grassroots development and provide young female cricketers with a platform to showcase their talent at a competitive level. The participating teams have been divided into two groups: Group A: Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, and Nagaland. Group B: Tripura, Sikkim, Meghalaya, and Mizoram.
