Assam: Review Meeting Held for 30th Assam Inter-District Athletic Meet 2024 Preparations in Kokrajhar

KOKRAJHAR: A review meeting of the Organizing Committee on the preparations of 30th Assam Inter-district Athletic meet, 2024 was held at Kokrajhar District Sports Association indoor stadium today. The 30th Master’s Athletic Meet would be held in Kokrajhar on December 27 to 30.

Chaired by the president of the Organizing Committee and MLA Lawrence Islary, the progress reports from different sub committees were taken in the last review meeting today. According to the Organizing Committee, the preparations were going on to host the Master’s Athletic Meet smoothly. According to the sources of Assam Master’s Athletic Association, Kokrajhar district committee, around 1300 players from various districts of Assam will participate in the meet.

The president of the Organizing Committee Lawrence Islary said that the arrangements of the accommodations have been made while field preparations and souvenirs are in progress. He also said that other sub-committees are also working smoothly.
