Assam take 38 runs lead against Tamil Nadu in Cooch Behar trophy tie

GUWAHATI: Assam took 38 runs first-innings lead against Tamil Nadu in the Cooch Behar trophy tie at Tiruppur today. Assam, elected to field, bowled out 108 runs in the first innings. Bibhakar Nag picked up 6-43 while Arjun Murthy (61) scored a half century. Assam were 146-7 in their first innings at stumps on day I. Denish Das remained not out on 85 (4x11, 6x1).
