Assam win 16 medals in Junior National Wushu (Boys and Girls) Championship

GUWAHATI: Assam won 16 medals including 4 Gold, 2 Silver and 10 Bronze in the 24th Junior National Wushu (Boys and Girls) Championship which concluded at Gachibowli Stadium, Hyderabad on Sunday.  Assam Team also received 2nd Runners Up Trophy in Sanda Girls Category.

Medal winners: Taolu ( Routine ) event: Kamal Kumar Boro: (One Gold and a Bronze medal). Arhaan Borooah (One Gold and one Silver), Daisy Rabha (Two Bronze), Lakhi Bala Rabha ( Bronze ), Ningsi Borphukan (Bronze), Pranjal Medhi (2 Bronze).

Sanda (Free fighting event): Zureem Pegu (one Gold), Borakha Hatimuria (Gold), Monika Doley (Silver), Alisha Khan (Bronze) and Nibir Kumar Gogoi (Bronze).
