GUWAHATI: Powered by unbeaten half-centuries from Mukut Kalita (63 off 42; 4x8, 6x2) and Pankaj Kalita (51 off 40; 4x8, 6x1), 22 Yards Glory secured a commanding 10-wicket victory over Golaghat Veteran in the RP Barooah Memorial Masters T20 Cricket at NFRSA Stadium, Maligaon. Chasing 117, they reached the target in just 13.4 overs. Biltu Mazumdar’s unbeaten 49 was the standout performance for Golaghat.
In the day’s second match, Goalpara Veteran defeated Stallion Sports Club by six wickets. Ahar Ali anchored the chase with an unbeaten 51 off 41 balls and Abrahim Ahmed hit 41, while his teammate Biju Kar starred with the ball, taking 3-22.
