GUWAHATI: Damber Adhikari’s all round performance went in vain as City Cricket Club secured a convincing 84-run victory over River Rine Club in the Assam Premier Club Cricket Championship held at Jagiroad on Thursday. The match, reduced to 25 overs due to bad weather, saw a strong performance from City Cricket Club. Damber picked five wickets and also contributed 24 runs playing for River Rine Club.

In the other scheduled game of the day, Ankurjyoti Club’s clash against Navarang Club at the Nehru Stadium was abandoned due to poor visibility.
