Gautam Chakraborty lifts TOPCEM-ASJA Inter Media Chess Competition title

GUWAHATI: Gautam Chakraborty of Prasar Bharati emerged as the champion in the TOPCEM-ASJA Inter Media Chess Competition held in the city on Friday.

Veteran journalist Wasbir Hussain of North East Live and Armanur Rahman of The Wire secured the second and third positions, respectively, in the tightly contested tournament. A total of 10 participants from various media organizations competed in the event, showcasing their strategic prowess in the game of chess.

With the conclusion of this event, the Inter-Media Sports Festival officially came to an end today. The award ceremony is scheduled to take place at Nehru Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
