GSA Holds 67th Annual General Meeting at Gauhati Town Club Auditorium

Guwahati: The 67th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Guwahati Sports Association (GSA) for the year 2024–25 was held on Saturday evening at the auditorium of Gauhati Town Club. The meeting was attended by office-bearers and representatives of affiliated member units consisted of clubs, institutions and educational institutions from across the city.

The proceedings began with the confirmation of the minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting. The General Secretary presented the Annual Report, duly passed by the Executive Committee, which was approved by the House.

Sanjay Kumar Borjatiya & Associates were appointed as the auditors for the next fiscal term.

The incumbent Joint Secretary, Kajal Paul Choudhury has been appointed as Treasurer.

Assistant Joint Secretary Sajjad Zaheer Hussain has been elevated to the post of Joint Secretary, while Maharana Club representative Deep Jyoti Baruah has been inducted as Assistant Joint Secretary.

Following the resignation of Executive Member Pratim Hazarika, on the grounds of his appointment as a selector of the Assam Cricket Association, Sri Gautam Das, a representative of Dynamo Club, has been nominated as a member of the Executive Committee. This is stated in a release.
