GTC Men’s Spring T20 Cup: 91 Yards, GTC register win

GUWAHATI: 91 Yards Club and Gauhati Town Club (GTC) emerged victorious in their respective matches in the GTC Men’s Spring T20 Cup held at the Judges Field here today. 91 Yards Club defeated Navarang Club by 16 runs and Gauhati Town Club beat Navajyoti club by 14 runs.

Navarang Club vs 91 Yards Club: 91 Yards Club 165-7 (20 overs), Rajendra Singh 42, Roshan Topno 35, Dipankar Gogoi 3-34, Navarang Club 149 (20 overs), Manjeet Deka 49, Junned Raihan 35, Parvej Musaraf (4-20).

Brief scores: Gauhati Town Club vs Navajyoti Club: Gauhati Town Club 156-7 (20 Overs), Gokul Sharma 44, Dhruv Raaj Borah 30, Neeraj Sharma 24, Chanakya Sarma 3-39, Dharani Rabha 2-49; Navajyoti Club 99-7 (14.3 overs), Nipon Deka 62, Gokul Sharma 2-9, Avinav Choudhury 2-12.
