GTC Men’s T20 Trophy: Parvej guides 91 Yards Club to Victory

GUWAHATI: 91 Yards Club defeated Navarang Club by 7 wickets in the GTC Men’s Summer Challenge T20 Trophy at Judges Field today. The standout performances of the match came from 91 Yards Club Akshay Kumar Deka, who took four wickets, and Parvej Musaraf, who starred with both the ball and bat.

Navarang Club, electing to bat first, was bowled out for 88 runs in 19.4 overs. Akshay led the attack with an impressive 4-15, while Parvej supported him with 3-17.

In response, 91 Yards Club chased down the target in 16 overs, losing 3 wickets. Parvej top-scored with 43 runs, including two boundaries and two sixes, while Nihar Narah contributed 27 runs. In the other match of the day, rain forced the abandonment of the game between Bud Cricket Club and Gauhati Town Club.
