Guwahati Premier League Football (GPL): GTC, NEUFC end campaigns on high mote

GUWAHATI: Gauhati Town Club (GTC) ended their GPL Football campaign with an emphatic 5-0 victory over SAI, Guwahati, at the Judges Field today. Jayanta Baglary, Anupam Borgohain (2), Sanjib Deka, and Amar Bhujel found the back of the net for GTC in a commanding performance.

Meanwhile, Northeast United FC (NEUFC) wrapped up their campaign with a 2-0 win over Red Bee Inc. Hriti Seb emerged as the hero, scoring both goals in the dying moments of the match (90th and 90+2 minutes).

The semi-finals of the competition are set to take place on Friday at the same venue. United Chirang Duar will face NFRSA in the first semi-final at 3:00 PM, followed by Pride East Mavericks taking on FC Green Valley in the second semi-final at 5:30 PM.
