GUWAHATI: Sports Authority of Assam announced the results of the online Essay Competition which was organized as a part of recent State Sports Day Celebration. In the junior category first three position are bagged by Hrishikesh Mishra (1st), Kapil Raj Bordoloi (2nd) and Anika Saikia (3rd). The other categories were for the senior and first three position winners are: EjazIshtiaq Borboruah (1st), Dikshita Barman (2nd) and Manash Pratim Dutta (3rd). It may be mentioned here that "Contribution of Singhapurush Radha Govinda Baruah to Sports in Assam" was the subject for junior category and "Importance of Sports in Educational Institutions" for Senior Category. Winners in both the categories will receive cash awards: Rs 1500, Rs 1000 and Rs 500.
