GUWAHATI: The 27th India Club Open Tennis Championship-2025 concluded at the India Club premises on Sunday. In the closing ceremony, the prizes were distributed by Chief Guest Sumit Sattwan, DC (Kamrup Metro), Charan Saran Bajoria, MD, Bhagwati Sai Aluminium as Guest of Honour, Bijan Choudury, President, India Club, Ankush Dutta, General Secreatry AATA and others.  Ashok Kr Das memorial trophy for Best Sportsmanship award, which was introduced this season, was awarded to Anirban Deka.

Final results: Boys’ U/10 Singles:Kumar Shrestha bt Dhanush Mahanta (5-4 (8-6)),(4-5 (5-7)) (4-2). Boys U/12 years Singles: Anirban Deka bt Riyan Jyoti Dutta (6-3) (6-2). Boys’ U/14 years Singles: Chandogya Tridive Pathak bt Enrich Patar (6-1) (6-0). Boys’ U/18 years Singles: Riyan Kashyap bt Chandogya Tridive Pathak (6-4) (6-4). Girls’ U/10 years Singles: Dhaniska Mahanta bt Rishishree Bharadwaj(4-0) (4-0). Girls’ U/12 years Singles: Dhyanaa Aasin Morang bt Phaagun Jyoti (6-1) (6-1). Girls’ U/14 years Singles: Arisha Mahin Choudhury bt Dhyana Aasin Morang (6-2) (6-3). Girls’ U/18 years Singles: Nabiha Moriyam bt Kabyanjali Hazarika (6-4) (6-4). Gentlemen’s Singles: Sheikh Iftikhar Md BT Udit Gogoi (6-2) (7-6). Ladies Singles: Justina Borgohain bt Nabiha Moriyam (4-6) (6-2) (10-6). Gentlemen’s Doubles: Sheikh Iftikhar Md and Udit Gogoi bt Shiv Kr Prajapati  and Harjeet Singh (6-1) (6-1).

Mixed Doubles above 30 Years: Sudhanta Sekhar Mohanty and  P. Kamkhya bt Prasurjya Bora and Rani Kaur (6-1) (6-1). Gentlemen’s Doubles above 35 Years: Priyanuz Datta Lahkar and Rajesh Baruah bt Tutu Thapa and Shiv Prajapati (4-6) (6-3) (12-10). Gentlemen’s Doubles above 45 Years: Dr. Bharat Pukan  and Randip Barua bt Devendra Singh and  Sanatnu Choudhury (8-3).

Gentlemen’s Doubles above 55 Years: Dr. Bharat Pukan and  Randip Barua bt Amlandeep Das and Dipak Kr Das (8-4). Gentlemen’s Doubles above 60 Years: Dr. Bharat Pukan and Siddharth Sarma bt Amlandeep Das and Anupam Chowdhury (8-4).
