Mangaldai Girl Drishna Shines in State Yoga Sports Championship

MANGALDAI: Six years old Drishna JR Chanda-a class I standard student of Mangaldai has secured the second position in the 22nd Assam State Yoga Sports Championship held in Nagaon from October 26 to 28. The championship was organized by the Assam Yoga Association affiliated to the Yoga Federation of India in association with Ananda Ram Dhekial Phukan College (ADP), Nehru Yuva Kendra, Nagaon Sports Association and District Sports Officer at ADP College. A total of 32 district teams took part in the championship. Drishna is a student of Gurukul Group of Educational Wing at Mangaldai and is the daughter of teacher Runumi Priya Devi and businessman Jayanta Chanda of Mangaldai town.
