Navarang, GTC Register Wins in Summer Challenge T20

GUWAHATI: Navarang Club rode on a blistering knock from Anurag Talukdar to secure a 12-run victory over City Cricket Club in the GTC Men’s Summer Challenge T20 Trophy at Judges Field here today. Talukdar smashed 88 runs off just 48 balls, hitting 4 fours and 9 sixes to power his team to a competitive total. City Cricket Club’s Rohan Hazarika fought hard with a well-made 59, but his efforts fell short as Navarang held on for the win.

In the day’s other match, Gauhati Town Club (GTC) defeated Navajyoti Club by 4 wickets. Rituraj Biswas was the standout performer for Navajyoti Club, scoring a solid 65, while Bishal Sarma led the chase for GTC with a valuable 50.
