GUWAHATI: International Master and top seed of the tournament Maynak Chakraborty is placed in second position after he was held to a draw by Tanmoy Rajbonghshi in the fifth round of the South Point Guwahati India Open International Rating Chess held at the South Point School premises. Rahul Gurung of Sikkim and Samyak Dharewa of West Bengal shared the lead after six rounds with six points each. However with four more rounds remaining to be played all the players in the top have an equal chance of winning the championship.
