Minerva Punjab FC Writes To FIFA On Behalf of I-League Clubs

New Delhi: Six I-League clubs — Minerva Punjab FC, Mohun Bagan, Quess East Bengal, Churchill Brothers Goa, Aizawl FC and Gokulam Kerala FC — have written to FIFA chief Gianni Infantino asking him to intervene and save Indian football. Minerva owner Ranjit Bajaj signed the letter which has urged FIFA to help the clubs as they fight for survival.

The letter contains 35 points/reasons citing what is going on with Indian Football and how All India Football Federation (AIFF) has ruined everything that was good when they made a deal with Reliance and FSDL.

This letter also contains how many teams and tournaments were abandoned due to the negligence and stepmotherly treatment of AIFF towards them.

Minerva Punjab raised the issue of “One Nation, One League” in this letter and expressed their intention on what will happen to the I-League clubs and the league itself and wants help for their sustainability. Finally, Minerva Punjab FC requested Infantino to set up an enquiry to probe the manner in which AIFF is functioning and also requested him to kindly look into this matter and provide a roadmap for Indian Football.
