Police Blues Hold GTC 1-1 In R G Baruah Super Division Football League

GUWAHATI: Assam Police Blues and Gauhati Town Club (GTC) played a 1-1 draw in the R G Baruah Super Division Football League at the Nehru Stadium here today Rakesh Das opened the account for Police in 16 minute and Gauhati Town Club returned the goal in 57th minute through Ripunjay Deori. In the 'A' Division League Frontier Club defeated Narengi SC in a well contested game 4-3. Rupjyoti Rabha (10'), Ajay Rabha (21') and A Kachari (58', 69') scored for the winner. Chandan Barman (24', 41') and Abhijit Roy (34') were the scorers for Narengi. Tomorrow's match: FC Green Valley vs Navajyoti Club (Super Division).
