NEW DELHI: Indian International cricketer Wriddhiman Saha has fallen into massive controversy after the cricketer revealed the threatening messages sent to him by a senior journalist.

The journalist in the message screenshot shared in Saha's Twitter account has been threatening the cricketer as he denied giving an interview over with his channel.

On Friday 25 February, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a three-member committee to investigate the alleged threat by the journalist.

After repeatedly asking for the name of that particular journalist, Saha had initially refused to share any identity of the person but now he has agreed to co-operate with the inquiry and will reveal the journalist's identity.

BCCI has recently released an official notice informing that 3 member committee has been formed to observe closely the matter of Saha where the cricketer has received intimidation and threats from a senior journalist.

The cricket governing body of India BCCI has informed that the committee will be soon starting the proceeding over the issue and it is expected to begin by the upcoming week.

The three members committee consists of BCCI Apex Council Member Mr. Prabhtej Singh Bhatia, BCCI vice President Mr. Rajiv Shukla and BCCI Treasurer Mr. Arun Singh Dhumal.

In concern over the matter, the BCCI talked with Saha and then with his consent, they took the decision to constitute the committee and probe into the matter.

In the tweet by Saha, he had shared the messages by the journalist sent to him through Whatsapp messenger which shows how the journalist has been allegedly threatening the cricketer for not replying to his message and for not receiving his calls.

The journalist mentioned that he will not take this act by Saha lightly but will remember this as he doesn't take insults kindly. He further told Saha that he will never take any interview of the cricketer in future.
