ASEBSC Finish Campaign In Style; Bags Second Spot

Last year champion today thrashed ITBP 4-1 in their last group ‘A’ League match which also helped them to bag the second spot in the points table.

Guwahati: Assam State Electricity Board Sports club (ASEBSC) ended their campaign in the 68th Bordoloi Trophy in style at the Nehru Stadium here today. Last year champion today thrashed ITBP 4-1 in their last group 'A' League match which also helped them to bag the second spot in the points table.

Subangsha Basumatary opened the account for ASEBSC in the 36th minutes. Later Jwmbla Brahma (44, 61) and Raghunath Boro (46) scored the other goal of the match for the winning team. ITBP returned one through Lepcha in the 77th minute. Meanwhile United Chirang Duar Fc qualified into the semi final from group 'D' defeating Assam Regimental Centre 2-0 at Toikajhara in Chirang today.TA Vailland and Timmy Ryngkhem scored one goal each in the match. At Kororoa Delhi FC register 2-1 victory over Assam Rifles in a group 'B' match. Arthur Kouassi and Laiwang Bohham scored for Delhi and Jefferson reduced one for Assam Riffles. In the other match of the day at Ghilakuri, Sipajhar Nagaland Police thrashed Bodousa Club by 5-0. Kezhose scored a hat-trick. Rhitsho Mero and Lima Kumzuk were the other scorers for Nagaland Police.
