Guwahati: New tennis academy to open at Khanapara from August 1

Guwahati: A new tennis centre- Khanapara Lawn Tennis Academy- will open at Khanapara from August 1. The centre, equipped with residential facilities, has three synthetic courts. Addressing the media the chief patron of the academy Dr NK Das said that although training had started at the academy it will begin formally on August 1. There will be around 50 young players at the academy during the initial stage. He also said that one indoor court will be added in the academy very soon.
