Citizenship (Amendment) Bill may be tabled in Rajya Sabha today

NEW DELHI: The Government on Tuesday was not able to table Citizenship (Amendment) Bill in the Parliament after Rajya Sabha has been adjourned following uproar over Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Akhilesh Yadav issue. Yadav was stopped at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow. The Citizenship (Amendment) Bill was included in the revised Business list of the Rajya Sabha on late Monday evening. The Bill is likely to be tabled in the Upper House on Wednesday.
