2,046 new COVID cases detected across Assam, positivity rate 1.54%

GUWAHATI: As many as 2,046 new COVID-19 positive cases were detected in the State on Wednesday when 22 people died of the infection. The positivity rate in the State during the day is 1.54 per cent. A total of 115 new cases were detected in the Lakhimpur district, 228 in Golaghat district, 122 in Sivasagar and 207 in Kamrup (M).
