GUWAHATI: As many as 2,644 new COVID-19 positive cases were detected in the State on Thursday when 21 people died of the disease. The positivity rate in the State during the day is 2.48 per cent. 285 new cases were detected in the Lakhimpur district, 280 in Golaghat district, 173 in Sonitpur and 168 in Kamrup (M).
