Assam DCs to follow 3-R Strategy to Assess Flood Disaster Mitigation Plan: CM Himanta Biswa Sarma

GUWAHATI:

Flood Disaster Mitigation Plan: Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma asked the Deputy Commissioners of all the districts to adopt the '3-R' strategy – Rescue, Relief and Rehabilitation – to reach out to the people affected by flood. He also asked them to create 'Task Force' both at the district and circle level to assess the size and grant compensation to the flood affected victims.
