Assam Finance Department releases Rs 66 crore for panchayat remuneration

GUWAHATI: The State Finance Department today released Rs 66 crore for the remunerations of panchayat representatives. It will benefit 26,784 panchayat representatives, including presidents, secretaries and others. They will get remunerations of ten months.
