Assam Government made changes in holidays

GUWAHATI: The State Government has made changes to the dates of three holidays on its holiday list.

According to a notification issued by the GAD (General Administration Department), the holiday for the tithi of Sankardev will be on September 16 instead of August 18, the holiday for Karam Puja will be on September 25 instead of August 27, and the holiday for the Janmotsav of Sankardev will be on September 24 instead of September 25.
