Assam Government posted Ravi Kota as Additional Chief Secretary

GUWAHATI: The State Government posted IAS-1993 batch Assam-Meghalaya cadre officer Dr. Ravi Kota as Additional Chief Secretary after his return from Central deputation. According to the notification of the Personnel Department, Dr. Kota will look after the Home and Political Department (including passports and prisons, etc.) and the Industries, Commerce, and Public Enterprises Department with effect from the date of taking over charge.

The Personnel Department also reshuffled two ACS officers. According to an official notification, ACS Lakhyajit Duwara has been posted as Deputy Secretary, Medical Edication and Research Department, and ACS Angshulekha Dutta Pathak has been posted as Under Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department.
