Assam Govt Opens Helpline Numbers for Stranded Citizens in Nepal

GUWAHATI: The Assam Government opened helpline numbers for any emergency assistance, coordination or information relating to stranded people from Assam in Nepal.

The helpline numbers and contact persons are (1) Anuran Medhi (9101089151, Assam Bhawan, New Delhi), (2) Vinod Kalita (8920570507, New Delhi), and (3) emergency assistance numbers - 011-23010299/98 and 26877111, besides toll-free Nos. 1070, 1079 or 112.
