Assam Police Sishu Mitra Initiative, Combat Child Labour

The Assam Police Sishu Mitra appealed to the general public to call 1098 Childline or any local police station if they find any children engaged as labourers or domestic help. The Sishu Mitra said that ‘children deserve to be nurtured and not exploited, and any form of child labour is a crime’.
